Private vs Group Tour - The Advantages of going Private.
It's hard to not have a great time on our Private Tours. Simply, you're in charge. We can change things at a moments notice, ensuring you and your group/family have an AMAZING TIME!
TOUR OVERVIEW - You'll exit Sedona on historic Highway 89A up through the Oak Creek Canyon. This part of the tour is slow going, with 15 MPH curves slowing us down as we climb the canyon wall. The views you'll get from the top looking down are AMAZING..!
GRAND CANYON - You'll arrive around 12PM. Just in time for lunch at the El Tovar historic hotel. Lunch is first come, first serve (not included) and much of the menu is classic comfort food.
You'll have options for lunch. If you're interested in grabbing something fast, we suggest the Maswik Lodge food court. Here you'll have the choice of several different food categories. You'll be in and out in under 30 minutes. You can also eat at the Bright Angel Lodge, which has a more extensive "healthy" food options.
After lunch we suggest you spend a bit of time exploring the nearby lookouts, Museum's (Yavapai, Kolb Studio), and historic buildings. There's a lot to see within walking distance of the hotel.
REMOTE OVERLOOKS - The further away from the Grand Canyon Village we go, the thinner the crowds. We specialize in getting you and your family into the smaller, more remote overlooks. At these overlooks is where the Canyon truly comes to life. At every stop the Colorado River becomes more and more visible.
Only from these remote overlooks will you see the Canyon in all its glory.
EXIT - Unlike other companies, who exit the same way they came in, you'll exit the park out the East exit. By exiting out the East exit, you'll travel through the Navajo Reservation; catching a glimpse of the Little Colorado River Gorge and the Painted Desert in the distance.
HOME - You'll arrive back in the Phoenix area around 7:30PM. Just in time to grab some dinner and unwind after a long day.
