Day 2:

During the morning hours, you'll have ample time on your own to relax, take sunrise photographs overlooking the Grand Canyon, or even do a morning hike.  At approximately 2:00pm, your guide will greet you at the front lobby of your Grand Canyon hotel to further explore the Canyon. You will travel along the famous 30-mile section of road that winds east along the rim of the canyon, showcasing the best rim views and history along the way including the Little Colorado River Gorge and various view points (Mather Point, Desert View, Moran, Lipan and Desert View Watchtower).

Before returning to Phoenix, you will be treated to distant views of the Painted Desert as well as close up views of the Little Colorado River Gorge and Navajo Nation.

You'll arrive home around 7:30pm.  The ride home is about 3hrs once we leave the Canyon, with a brief stop in Flagstaff, AZ to stretch your legs and load up on snacks for the remaining 2.5hrs home.

Cancellation Policy

Immediate non-refundable deposit of $200.00 is due at time of booking and will be applied to the final balance. The final balance is due 7 days prior to tour departure. The final balance is non-refundable. Cancellations made more than 7 days prior to tour departure will forfeit $200.00 deposit.

Accommodation/Lodging

Over 1.4 million guests a month visit the park during the months of June, July, and August.  We ask that you handle the hotel reservations, and here's why;

  • Everyone has different tastes, and different budgets.  Many of our Guests don't mind spending $500 a night to stay at one of the hotels on the Grand Canyon rim, while others are perfectly OK staying in Williams and driving the 1hr into the park.
  • Cancelations do happened, and it's simply easier for our Guests to handle credits/refunds.
  • Guide/Driver accommodations are also the responsibility of the Guest, which can affect purchasing decisions.

You have multiple options for where to stay at, or near the Grand Canyon.

WILLIAMS:  If you're on a budget, Williams, AZ will be your least expensive option.  Located about 1hr from the Park gate, the drive time is within reason.  Plus, you have the option of taking the train into the park (not included), and we'll meet you inside the park.

TUSAYAN:  Located right outside the main gate to the Park, you're about 15 minutes from the edge of the Grand Canyon.  Rooms are typically more modern, but rates and still be a bit on the high side during peak months (May - October).

INSIDE THE PARK:  You have a choice on on the Rim (El Tovar, Thunderbird Lodge, Bright Angel Lodge) and off the Rim (Maswik Lodge, Yavapai Lodge, Kachina Lodge).  Rooms rates fluctuate throughout the year, but all of the hotel/lodges can be found online.

NOTE:  Your Tour Guide stays with you, so if transportation is needed from the Hotel, it will be available.

Baggage Allowance

Individual luggage must be kept to a maximum of one carry-one less than 50 pounds or one day pack less than or equal to 40 liters. It is recommended to travel with a small day pack for easy access to the camera, sun block, and clothing.

Day 1:

After picking you up at your location (no meeting at central pickup location), you'll head to Sedona, AZ.  You'll have a hard time leaving.  The views of the red rock vistas are amazing, and we take you to the best spots to view them.  Unhampered by the size of our tour vehicles, we can go where other tour companies find difficult.

Departing Sedona, you'll head up Oak Creek Canyon.  One of Arizona's most scenic drives.  Lush green oak trees draping over the roadway in the Summer, snow covered vistas in the Winter.

You'll arrive at the Grand Canyon National Park at about 12:30pm, and everyone will have the rest of the day to explore the Grand Canyon Village.  Take a hike down the Rim Trail.  Shop for the perfect gift for those back home, or simply find the perfect spot on the edge of the Canyon to take a deep breath and RELAX.  This is your time to slow down and take in the incredible views.

Overnight at or near Grand Canyon National Park, AZ.  Lodging upgrades are available for an additional cost.
